UtilityRadar respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the Service:

• Technical logs: IP address, user-agent, request time. Used for security, rate limiting, and aggregate traffic analysis. Retained for 90 days.
• Contact & correction submissions: name, email, phone (optional), and the message you send us via our forms.
• Cookies: a session cookie for CSRF protection. We do not set marketing or tracking cookies.

What we do NOT collect

• No third-party advertising trackers.
• No behavioural profiling.
• No cross-site tracking pixels.

How we use your information

We use submitted contact details only to:

• Reply to your question or correction;
• Verify a data update before publishing it;
• Protect the Service from abuse (rate limits, spam filtering).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Analytics

We use privacy-preserving, server-side analytics based on aggregated log data. We do not use Google Analytics or similar JavaScript-based trackers.

Your rights

You can request that we:

• Show you what personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate data;
• Delete your submissions from our support queue;
• Export your data in a machine-readable format.

Email our support team to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

We store submissions in an encrypted database behind HTTPS. We restrict access to the small number of people who need it to operate the Service. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

UtilityRadar is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

International transfers

UtilityRadar is operated from the Netherlands. If you contact us from another jurisdiction, your data may be transferred and processed in the EU.

Policy updates

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
