The plant serves a population of approximately 2,400 residents and has a designed capacity of 3,500 cubic meters per day, with a current discharge volume of 351.71 cubic meters per day. It operates as part of the municipal wastewater infrastructure for the Sassocorvaro Auditore area. The plant provides advanced treatment, which goes beyond the secondary treatment required by the EU Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (91/271/EEC) for agglomerations of this size.
