GROTTOLE_PIETRA_NEPITA is a municipal wastewater treatment plant located in Grottole, a town in the Basilicata region of southern Italy. The plant serves a population of approximately 2,600 residents and operates under Italy's implementation of the EU Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (91/271/EEC). The plant provides secondary treatment, which meets the minimum standard required by the EU directive for agglomerations of this size. Its designed capacity is 5,000 cubic meters per day, and it currently discharges an average of 514.71 cubic meters per day of treated wastewater.
