The ULTIMO wastewater treatment plant is located in Margreid an der Weinstraße (Magrè sulla Strada del Vino), in the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region of northern Italy. This facility serves a population of approximately 3,789 residents in the wine-growing area of the Adige Valley, operating under Italian national regulations that transpose the EU Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (91/271/EEC).
